Employment Relationship
We agree to adopt and adhere to rules and conditions of employment that respect workers and at a minimum, safeguard their rights under national and international labour and social security regulations and laws.
Child Labour
We will not employ persons younger than 15 years of age, or younger than the legal age for employment if this age is higher than 15 to produce our goods.
Forced Labour
We will not engage in the use of forced or illegal labour in the production of our goods.
Health and Safety
We provide a safe and hygienic working environment and promote occupational health and safety practices which prevent accidents and injury. We maintain adequate lighting, heating and ventilation systems within our factories. We maintain clean and safe worker dormitories and provide adequate emergency egress.
Harassment or Abuse
We treat our employees with dignity and respect. No employee shall be subject to physical, verbal or psychological harassment or abuse.
Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate in employment including hiring, compensation, advancement, discipline, termination or retirement, on the basis of gender, race, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, political opinion, nationality, social group or ethnic origin.
Compensation
We pay at least the minimum wage or the prevailing industry wage, whichever is higher, comply with all legal requirements on wages, overtime, and provide any legally mandated benefits.
Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining
We recognize and respect the rights of workers to freedom of association and collective bargaining.
Environment
We comply with all environmental rules, regulations and standards applicable to our operations.
Business Ethics
We are ethical in our business practices and comply with all applicable local, provincial federal, national and international laws rules and regulations.
